Perfect for travel. It was easy to carry in my backpack in the stuff sack. Pulled it out once we reached our destination. Served me well for a cold, rainy week in the Pacific Northwest. Kept me very warm even though it’s thin and not bulky. Kept me dry in the rain too. Looked comparable to the hundreds of Patagonia/NorthFace/Columbia ones that I saw in Seattle. Didn’t want to spend a ton of money because I live in a warm climate and won’t need it very often. LOVED the zippered pockets for stashing my sunglasses, eye glasses and my plus size iPhone. I’m 5’9” 140lbs. Medium was a perfect fit.
This coat is great for the winter when you're on the go and don't want to carry around a big puffy jacket. I wouldn't say it's warm for extremely cold days but it gets the job done. (Certainly not for skiing or other outside sports.) The best part is that it folds up very small. It also wash as well. (Make sure you follow the directions.)
I give this 4 out of 5 stars because the cut is not very feminine and is very boxy. I'll be returning and purchasing a different brand.
Disregard advice that the coat runs small. I sized up after reading reviews and was swimming in it when it arrived, even with a blocky sweater on. I had to return and size down to my regular size, I'm confident I'll still have room for sweaters. As for the confusion about the "inner pockets without bottom seams"-- those are the outside hand pockets, not inner pockets. No design error. No frills construction means it does the job but doesn't inspire confidence that it will last a long time. One thing you should be aware of though is that this coat is for minimum 35-40 degree weather. It is quite light.
Great product. Same quality as expensive name brand coats, but for a fraction of the price. I had been looking at and searching far more expensive vendors online and decided to give this one a try. I am not disappointed at all. I am very impressed with quality and fit. The color is great too. I even wore it skiing last week. I definitely recommend!
